CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: RECRUITMENT OF NIGERIAN ENGLISH LANGUAGE ASSISTANTS TO TEACH IN FRANCE (FULLY FUNDED)

Are you a Nigerian student studying French and would like to become an English Language Assistant in France for 7 months? The recruitment campaign for English language assistants in France for the 2020-2021 school year.
This program is designed to give Nigerian students the opportunity to discover a new region and culture by working alongside an English teacher in a French school environment.
This program is open to students of all disciplines who can demonstrate competence in French, and who are seeking to increase their linguistic and cultural proficiency.

Requirements:
• Candidates must be NIGERIAN citizens. Permanent residents are not eligible.
• Candidates must be between 20 and 35 years of age at the time of taking up their positions
• Candidates must have completed their secondary education in NIGERIA.
• Candidates must be enrolled at a NIGERIAN university at the time of application.
• Candidates must have completed at least two years of university studies.
• A minimum Level B1 in French is required
• Candidates must be native English speakers.
• Candidates should preferably be single, as the salary of an assistant is not adequate to support dependents.

GOOGLE ADCAMP EMEA 2019/2020 PROGRAM FOR CURRENT/RECENTLY GRADUATED UNIVERSITY STUDENTS (FULLY FUNDED)

AdCamp, open to all current or recently graduated university students from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) gives participants the chance to get a 360-degree look behind the scenes at Google, develop a professional network, gain new skills, experience our culture, and learn more about career opportunities in a fun and inclusive environment.
Up to 50 current university students will be selected to participate in an all-expense-paid AdCamp experience at one of Google’s offices. Participants will get the opportunity to gain new skills, compete in a case competition, develop a professional network, get an inside look into helping small and medium businesses thrive, and learn more about career opportunities within their Global Business Organisation in a fun and inclusive environment.

Requirements:
To apply, students must be:
Interested and have experience in sales, customer support, account management, marketing, or consulting
Experienced and have proven ability in managing and customizing the experience to a customer base
A proven multi-tasker and able to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Proactive, independent worker with the demonstrated capacity to lead, motivate, and work well with others
Fluent in English, as all AdCamp activities will be conducted in English
Be currently enrolled in a final year of BA/BS or master’s program, in any major, at a university in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa, or have graduated within the last 12 months

Benefits:
If a student is selected, Google will cover transport (most reasonable mode) to the programs and hotel rooms if needed for the duration of the program.

THE WORLD PRESS PHOTO/DIGITAL STORYTELLING CONTEST 2020 (FUNDED TO WORLD PRESS PHOTO FESTIVAL IN AMSTERDAM, NETHERLAND)

The annual contests recognize and celebrate the best visual journalism produced over the last year. An independent jury selects the prize-winning photographs and productions, which are later assembled into our annual exhibition and yearbook. Our annual Photo Contest and Digital Storytelling Contest is now open for entries. Both contests are free to enter and open to professional visual journalists.
