Seplat Internship is a carefully monitored work or service experience in which a student has intentional learning goals and reflects actively on what he/she is learning throughout the experience.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must be:

A university undergraduate at the time of application

Must present a letter of internship from school

Must have a CGPA of 3.0 and above for OND and 3.2 and above for BSC

Must be available in Nigeria to commence the internship

Able to fulfil tasks set out by the supervisor

Organized and competent to perform clerical duties as will be assigned

FRENCH GOVERNMENT CHALLENGE 2020 FOR YOUNG AFRICAN ENTREPRENEURS (FULLY FUNDED TO THE 2020 AFRICA-FRANCE SUMMIT IN BORDEAUX, FRANCE)

Application Deadline: January 31, 2020

The State will invite 1.000 African entrepreneurs to come to Bordeaux to present their solutions at The City of Solutions, a show dedicated to projects and solutions for sustainable cities and territories to be held during the 28th edition of the Africa-France Summit. June 4, 5 and 6, 2020.

Requirements:

To apply to the Challenge of 1,000:

You have to be an African entrepreneur, having an activity related to one of the 7 districts of The City of Solutions

Your organization needs a real legal existence (legal statute)

Your organization should have an increasing revenue

Your organization should beared a viable product or solution, innovative or duplicable at a lower cost, to make French and African cities more sustainable from an environmental and social point of view.

CAREFUL CONSIDERATION will be given by the jury to:

THE AFRICA DIGITAL RIGHTS FUND (ADRF) 2019 FOR DIGITAL RIGHT INITIATIVES

Application Deadline: December 6 2019

The Africa Digital Rights Fund (ADRF) offers flexible and rapid response grants to select initiatives in Africa to implement activities that advance digital rights, including advocacy, litigation, research, policy analysis, digital literacy and digital security skills building.

Eligible Activities

The activities that are eligible for funding are those that protect and advance digital rights. These may include but are not limited to research, advocacy, policy analysis, litigation, digital literacy and digital security skills building, and participating in digital rights legal and legislative processes.

Duration

The grant funding shall be for a period not exceeding 10 months.

Eligibility Requirements

The Fund is open to organizations and coalitions working to advance digital rights in Africa. This includes but is not limited to human rights defenders, media, activists, think tanks, legal aid groups, and tech hubs. Entities working on women’s rights or with youths, sexual minorities, refugees, and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

The initiatives to be funded will preferably have formal registration in an African country, but in some circumstances, organizations and coalitions that do not have formal registration may be considered. Such organizations need to show evidence that they are operational in a particular African country or countries.

The activities to be funded must be in/on an African country or countries.
